News Mo Johston hands in a transfer request and goes to Celtic for £400k

George Reilly heads to Newcastle for £200k.

Enter Luther Blissett for 500k after AC Millan discovered he was not John Barnes (Sorry Luther, Joke Honest!).

We go to Birmingham and sign perhaps our best keeper ever in Tony Coton for £300k.

Then we sign John McClelland for £225k. 

The season was one of change and injuries and we never reach the heights of the previous two. However we did finish the season with a 5-1 win at Spurs and a 5-1 win against Manchester United and 11th place.


In the League we finish 11th out of 22 of Division 1.
