News

We did not go up! Jenkins is injured and is absent for 4 months leaving Watford without a man who had been a regular scorer in the rise so far. The side became unsettled due to a large turnover of players who had to bed in. Including Martin Patching, Eric Steele, Malcolm Poskett and Legend Wilf Rostron.

The only real highlight was a Quarter Final FA Cup match with Arsenal which we lost 2-1.

Off the pitch. The Family Enclosure is launched in the front of the main stand, the bend between the Rookery shed and the Shrodells Stand is given the luxurious concrete treatment and the Rookery is segregated.

On a sad note ex chairman Jim Bonsor dies.
