News

Watford report a trading profit for the first time ever due to the cup run of £170.
However the Overdraft Stands at £35,000.
A call for investors is made as financial pressures bite.

The Dressing rooms are developed under the main stand and the old dressing rooms knocked through to provide an enlarged board room. It was financed by the Vice Presidents paying for 10 years subscription in advance.

Part of the Wall at the Vicarage Road end is demolished and rebuilt after cracks are discovered.

On the pitch Watford finish in their highest ever position in the League. However the fans are not happy at the type of football on display. Stewart Scullion joins Sheffield United and states that Watford are to defensive minded.


In the League we finish 18th out of 22 of Division 2.
