News Council announces increase in Club rate bill from £450 to £5,000.

Become a Vice President of the club for £50.

Unsold shares, a financial loss and Plummeting Gates leave the club looking to cut costs.

We get knocked out of the Southern Floodlight cup (which we invented) in the first round by Aldershot 6-2.

Manager: Len Goulden untill Southampton away 22nd October 1955, Johnny Paton took over with Goulden 'Promoted' to general manager, until Exeter City away 11th February 1956 when Len Goulden again took over team affairs to save us from re-election. Goulden was then sacked season end.
