News The Rookery Stand was demolished and the seating was taken over to the Union stand (Rous stand now).

Benskins and Sports Stadiums (Watford) Ltd help Watford by lending money and writing of debentures. Benskins also help Watford FC by doubling donations by the supporters club. Still the club struggles financially.

Watford buy Five Leicester players in one go for £4,750.
