News The club struggles to recruit players due to the shortage of affordable housing in Watford.
Weekly wage bill of £200.
A greyhound racing syndicate (Greyhound Racing Association) invest in Watford. A 21 year lease is made under the control of Sports Stadiums (Watford Ltd).
Loudspeakers introduced and part of the Vicarage road end concreted.
